Alice in Amsterdam

Alice on an endless journey feeling her way through the maze, with each breath stumbling on a string of thoughts; she is navigating within the unlimited consciousness. The wheel of life keeps spinning as she uses free will wandering in awe while her awareness discretely expands...

It is easy to get hooked in negative self-talks, the shame and blame game, patterns that are formed in childhood, manifesting in behavior and later developing into a personality/ identity..

In Buddhism they call it the 8 main traps:

pleasure and pain; loss and gain; fame and disgrace; hope and fear

Life is full of deja vous or similar situations, like in the movie "The Groundhog Day" or Alice in Wonderland trapped in the maze.

The mind game never ends... perhaps until the dawn, that it is all a game

and that in each moment we have the choice to react in a different way!

"Who ARE You?” This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, “I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then." - Lewis Carroll, "Alice in Wonderland

We should not concern ourselves with the pursuit of happiness but happiness of pursuit - from "Hector and the search for happiness" the movie

Remain a beginner, like a child endowed with tremendous

humility, patience and faith. Such should be our attitude

towards the experiences

life brings to us. Then we will keep on learning. For the mind to grow and become as big as the Universe, we should first become as a child - Amma

Wanting positive experience is a negative experience; accepting negative experience is a positive experience. It’s what the philosopher Alan Watts used to refer to as “the backwards law”—the idea that the more you pursue feeling better all the time, the less satisfied you become, as pursuing something only reinforces the fact that you lack it in the first place. The more you desperately want to be rich, the more poor and unworthy you feel, regardless of how much money you actually make. The more you desperately want to be sexy and desired, the uglier you come to see yourself, regardless of your actual physical appearance. The more you desperately want to be happy and loved, the lonelier and more afraid you become, regardless of those who surround you. The more you want to be spiritually enlightened, the more self-centered and shallow you become in trying to get there... No fucks given. As the existential philosopher Albert Camus said: “You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life.” Or put more simply: Don’t try. - Mark Manson, "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck"

Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes. - Carl Jung

entangled her mind,

while returning from the last battle.

After months,

in that field trained by her guide,

who had no mercy,

even for a lady...

He saw just an ancient warrior,

after thousands metamorphoses,

the warrior who never come back,

He did not know

that she liked,at times,

to meet in peace with her soul,

in the wild woods;

and so there is why she was missing

for long times.

She preferred, free winds and violence,

which she met through those winding paths

in Transylvania.

Into those paths, she could find every trap,

but thirst for freedom and everlasting peace...

She spent whole months meditating,

then hunting pure evil,

coming back, reborning,

as she was triumphant in battle.

Coming back, with sharp teeth,

shining, opposing everyone who

dominated, burning villages,

torturing, robbing poor people.

Those arrived with their hate and desire of power,

killed every noble soul.

As hers. - Alexandra Krantz

If you don't work on yourself, then much of your politics is merely projections. We have to walk our talk and do the inner work that allows the outer work to be authentic and also effective.

- Matthew Fox

Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?" "That depends a good deal on where you want to get to." "I don't much care where –" "Then it doesn't matter which way you go. - Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

There is actually nothing out there other than consciousness itself. The habitual tendency to believe otherwise is a fundamental illusion, a vanity of the human mind which tends always to view transitory subject as "mine" Objectively it can be seen that thoughts really belong to the consciousness of the world. The individual mind merely processes them in new combinations.. What seem to be truly original thoughts appear only through the medium of genius and invariably felt by their authors to be found or given, not created. It may be the case that we are each unique as no two snowflakes are alike however we are still just snowflakes. The mind's vanity confers it's imprimatur of authenticity on the movie of life that it happens to view; the mind's very nature is to convince us that its unique view of experience is a genuine article. Each individual secretly feels that their experience of the world is the only true and accurate one. Light cannot enter a closed box. Unless the painful lessons of life with which we deal are transformed through humility into gateways of growth and development, they are wasted. - David R. Hawkins

My dear, here we must run as fast as we can, just to stay in place. And if you wish to go anywhere you must run twice as fast as that. - Lewis Carroll, "Alice in Wonderland"

The Universe holds its breath as we choose instant by instant which pathway to follow; for the Universe the very essence of life itself is highly conscious. Every act, thought and choice adds to a permanent mosaic; our decisions ripple through the Universe of consciousness to affect the lives of all. Lest this idea be considered either mystical or fanciful, let us remember the fundamental tenet of the new theoretical physics: everything in the Universe is connected with everything else. Our choices reinforce the powerful M-fields, which are the attractor pattern that influence others. Even if one sits isolated in a cave his thoughts influence others whether he wishes it or not. Every act or decision you make that supports life, supports all of life including your own. The ripples we create return to us. This which may once have seemed a metaphysical statement, is now established as a scientific confirmable fact "Test Supports Sheldrake Theory," Brain/Mind Bulletin

Everything in the Universe constantly gives off an energy pattern of a specific frequency that remains for all time and can be read by those who know how. Every word, deed and intention creates a permanent record. Every thought is known and recorded forever. There are no secrets, nothing can be hidden, nor can it be. Our spirits stand naked in time for all to see. Everyone's life, finally is accountable to the Universe. - David R. Hawkins Phd.

What is it that observes and is aware of all of the subjective phenomena of life? It is consciousness itself that is both awareness and the source of experiencing. Both are purely subjective. Consciousness itself is not determined by content; thoughts flowing through consciousness are like fish swimming in the ocean. The oceans existence is independent of the fish. The content of the sea does not define the nature of the water. Like a colourless ray, consciousness illuminates the object witnessed, thus it's traditional depiction throughout the world literature is light. Identification solely with the content of the consciousness accounts for the experience of self as limited. In contrast to identify with consciousness itself is to know that ones actual self is unlimited. When circumscribed self-identifications have been surmounted so that the sense of self is identified as consciousness itself the condition is called enlightened. - Maharshi Maharaj

But mine were not the wings for such a flight Yet as wished the truth I wished for came Cleaving my mind in a great flash of light Here my powers rest from this high fantasy But already I could feel my being turned Instinct and intellect balanced equally As in a wheel whose motion nothing jars But the Love that moves the Sun and other Stars - Dante
